Minnesota Family Council Action Alert

Hearing Set for March 12 to Mandate Unhealthy Sex Education for Children Grades 7-12

Contact committee members and your legislators now and urge them to oppose S.F. 3349 or similar legislation

March 10, 2008

Comprehensive Family Life and Sexuality Education Programs, (S.F. 3349) imposes a statewide mandate to teach comprehensive sex education, every year, to children grades 7 through 12.

Comprehensive sex education gives lip service to abstinence education while promoting condoms and contraceptive use.  Such curricula also promote acceptance of alternative sexual lifestyles and unhealthy behaviors such as anal sex and anal-oral sex.

Contact your legislators and tell them to reject the deceptively named, Responsible Family Life and Sexuality Education Programs S.F. No. 3349, which contains a statewide comprehensive mandate for all Minnesota children grades 7 thru 12.

Tell them you oppose this irresponsible promotion of various sexual lifestyles and practices extremely unhealthy to our impressionable teenagers.
