Reasons
#2 and #3 to vote your values November 7th
Minnesota public schools are becoming more aggressive
in forcing a pro-homosexual agenda upon grade-school children - even when
parents object.
Recently, Interdistrict
Downtown School in Minneapolis ignored a mother's request to refrain from
teaching pro-homosexual lessons to her second grade twins. Defying the parent's request, the teacher
deliberately taught a lesson on same-sex parents, and told the children that he
and his male partner intended to adopt a child. The school officials sided with the teacher and refused to
reassign the children to another class.
Intimidation and harassment of pastors on the
rise
Pastors in Willmar received
threatening letters highlighting the dangers to tax-exempt status should their
"religious beliefs" directly or indirectly favor a candidate. The letter, sent by a local attorney, was a
blatant attempt to scare pastors from speaking out on moral issues, conduct
voter registration drives and distribute voters guides. One pastor remarked the mailing was "intended to chill the voice of the
Willmar area faith community in the upcoming election."
In several legislative
districts, voters have received deceptive mailings describing candidates as
"pro-life" and "pro-family" - even when their voting records show just the opposite. In fact, some of these
"pro-family" candidates have consistently voted against allowing
parents access to their children's medical treatment, voted to allow the
continued promotion of homosexuality in public schools and voted against
protecting children in public libraries and schools form Internet pornography.
