MFC thanks Gary Borgendale for
his tireless efforts to protect marriage in Minnesota over the past 33
months. Gary was the driving force that created Minnesota for Marriage, which
later became a project of the Minnesota Family Council.
Gary's personable efforts were felt across the state as
he networked with pastors and politicians alike. He was integral in shaping
and organizing the Minnesota Pastors' Summit and three Marriage Rallies at
the State Capitol. But Gary is best known for his love for the Lord. Gary was
an ambassador for the Lord in everything that he did whether he was leading a
rally, meeting with politicians in St. Paul or praying with a pastor in rural
Minnesota. God speed Gary. |

MFC thanks State Grassroots
Director Justin Uran for the vital contributions he made over the last 16
months. Uran engineered Minnesota Family Institute's Election IMPACT initative
which partnered with approximately 800+ churches across Minnesota. Uran's vision
became the model used by Focus on the Family in seven other states as well.
Minnesota Family Council will build on Uran's ground breaking efforts via the
formation of the Minnesota Pastors' Network designed to come along side the
church to help them be salt and light in the public square.
MFC also says "well done" to Election
IMPACT's Regional Directors for their efforts during the past six months. Jay
Berger (Southern Minnesota), Mac Bryant (Northern Minnesota), Doug Daggett
(Twin Cities), and Nikki Severson (Central Minnesota) were able to work with
800+ churches and distribute 250,000+ voter guides. Their tireless efforts to
get Godly candidates elected into office has been commended by pastors and
churches throughout Minnesota. |
