Time is running out to stop the new leadership in Washington from stifling grassroots-lobbying efforts.

The U. S. Senate is scheduled to resume consideration of Senate Bill 1 at 1 p.m. today.  That means a vote on the lobbying reform bill – and its objectionable Section 220 – could come anytime after.

Section 220 would impose stiff reporting requirements - and penalties – on organizations such as the Minnesota Family Council in communications with you related to influencing members of Congress on important issues under consideration.  Passage would seriously impede the ability of people to be informed by pro-family groups.

Take Action
Call the offices of Senator Norm Coleman and Senator Amy Klobuchar senators and ask them to support the Bennett Amendment that would strike Section 220 from S. 1.
