Let Your Light Shine: Q&A Series on GENDER IDENTITY

  • Owatonna Public Library 105 North Elm Street Owatonna, MN 55060

In fall 2015, the Minnesota State High School League implemented their "transgender student athlete policy," permitting biological boys to participate on girls' sports teams. Minneapolis public schools and St. Paul public schools have already adopted a transgender policy that permits biological boys who self-identify as girls to use female restrooms and locker rooms (and vice versa), and other school districts are being pressured to do the same.

One school district in Illinois made national news when they refused to permit open locker room sharing for transgender students, but then the Obama Administration threatened to cut the district's federal funding. So they backed down.

In direct violation of the privacy and safety of our students, particularly young girls, the transgender agenda is being forced upon us. This makes no sense. How did we get here? What are our rights? How should a Christian respond to this political agenda?

Learn about the crisis of gender identity in Minnesota in 2016 in the 3rd of a 4-part series on June 16th at the Owatonna Public Library.
