It's important to remember that we are engaged in a battle for the heart and soul of our culture--and not in a cliche sort of way, but in a very real spiritual battle.
Battles can be dark times, and there are always casualties on both sides of the conflict.
And, in this particular type of battle, there are eternal consequences.
But, battles also have a unique way of giving rise to heroes. In an age where heroism can be defined as dumping a bucket of ice water over your head or bullying a small-town restaurant owner for believing that marriage is the union of one man and one woman, our culture craves real heroes.
We'd like to take the opportunity to introduce you to some true heroes, the ones who run toward the bullets, and you even have the opportunity to meet them on May 28th!
David & Jason Benham
Heroes for today's culture, willing to stand up for their faith, whatever the cost
For those of you who don't know who the Benham Brothers are, trust us...you won't want to miss this event!
The twin brothers' rapid rise to success earned them a reality television show on HGTV that was set to air in the fall of 2014. The show was abruptly cancelled at the last minute, however, because of their outspoken commitment to biblical values.
The Benhams immediately found themselves in the midst of a cultural firestorm, and they decided not to back down. Appearing on CNN, Fox News, ABC’s Nightline and Good Morning America, and speaking live at events across the nation, they continue to boldly and winsomely share their faith in Christ and commitment to live according to His Word, shining as Light in the world – whatever the cost.
But you don't need to take our word for it...
Check out the video below or read the story of how the Benham Brothers reached one of their harshest critics through love--with a gift of baseball tickets--and we're positive you won't want to miss out on hearing from these amazing heroes who have surrendered their lives (and their dreams) to Christ, for such a time as this.
"The message for this critical hour is that LOVE looks like something. Love lays its life down, whatever the cost. Love runs toward the bullets and does not run away and duck for cover.
Now's the time to stand boldly for Jesus, whatever the cost."
