Breeders: A Subclass of Women?

Join Us for a Movie Screening and Q&A w/Jennifer Lahl

What: Breeders, the film, explores the many complex issues related to commercial surrogacy, the process by which wealthy "intended parents" pay to rent out a woman's womb and then pay for the child she bears.

The film reveals the commoditization of fertility and pregnancy, human rights violations, and the undermining of the dignity of women by talking with women who were hired as surrogates, physicians, psychologists, and activists across the political and ideological spectrum.

Who: Jennifer Lahl

This is an incredibly opportunity to meet Jennifer, as well as a now-adult woman who was born via surrogacy and a Minnesota woman who was formerly a surrogate mother. All three women will be present at the screening and available for questions after!
We are so blessed to have them for this incredible opportunity!

When: August 6th, 7pm.  Where: Lagoon Cinema, 1320 Lagoon Ave. Minneapolis, MN  Cost: $5
