Pornography is an affront to the human person, made in the image and likeness of God, and it perverts the God-given gift of sex.  It degrades the individuals using it and the persons who are featured in pornography, and it commoditizes and debases human sexuality that was intended to be a blessing within the bounds of a marital relationship between a man and a woman.  It harms families and marriage relationships. 

The pandemic of pornography continues to kindle other sexual perversions and means of defiling men and women made in the image of God including human trafficking, pedophilia, domestic violence, and rape. 

We support efforts to heighten awareness of the societal and spiritual harms of pornography, empowering churches to appropriately address the problems with pornography in their communities, increasing regulations on sexually oriented businesses in communities across the state, and strengthening pornography laws where possible.
